So, we all remember the previous post right? Yeah? Long spiel about how Notion is the go-to and whatnot? Well. Uh. That might be changing. Again.

Now don’t get me wrong, I DID set up a Notion thing for what I wanted, and I did try to use it, but it just didn’t quite fit what I was doing. Turns out I tend to do things as “projects”, I separate things into different buckets and have little sub-projects for them. So like Home would be one, Learning would be another, Games would be another. Those can all be managed in a kanban sort of way. It’s a bit overkill to try and design Notion, or Obsidian, around that when there are already kanban tools - like Trello.

So, where are we now with this whole wheel reinvention process? Well, we’re likely going to move things that are kanban-esque to Trello, and we’ll see how that feels for a bit.

As far as the wiki/knowledge-thing, that hasn’t changed. Still going with a repo in Gitea for that.

I also don’t have many things to report on right now because I’ve been fully engrossed in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 for the past like week-ish, and that will probably remain true for at least another week or so. But I said I’d try to do at least semi regular updates, even if they are small and largely pointless. So, that’s that.
